Despite the multitude of things going on this month and next, I decided to take on a new design/styling project that I’m REALLY excited about. I’ll be getting the opportunity to work with other creatives not only whom I greatly admire, but in my opinion are some of the best in the industry. I’ve been brainstorming like CRAZY this week as I prepare for the upcoming shoot and color palettes are always one of the best places to start when you start dreaming up a new design.
This week’s color palette was inspired by a visit this past weekend to my favorite store in Ballard called Lucca. It doesn’t matter what time of day or what day of the week I go into Lucca, they always have something that catches my eye. These sewing pins and black bulb pins were packaged SO beautifully that I couldn’t help but snap a picture of ‘em.
When you start getting crafty or creative where do you start? Where do you look for inspiration first? What’s your most fail-proof way to get the creative juices flowing?
