I can’t quite pinpoint what it is, but I absolutely love the use of watercolor in art. Maybe it’s the fact that at one point I actually knew how to use watercolors (took a class a LONG time ago), or maybe it’s that they create such beautiful dimension and character anytime they are used. I love that watercolors create such variation in color…those faded, nearly empty spots where the color seems to take on a mind of its own in the most perfect way.
