I have said it many times before but my absolute favorite aspect of my job is the process of collaborating with others. It is always such a thrill to work alongside people who are flourishing in their creative element, and this particular day in Raleigh was one of the most enjoyable times I’ve ever had on “set”. Along with the team of Megan & Mike, my buddy Jonathan, and Corey of Clyde Oak, we watched as Jake the head chef at Capital Club 16 (a FANTASTIC restaurant in downtown Raleigh) whipped up his menu for our upcoming Simple Evening dinner. I was overjoyed to style the table for this shoot and to watch Jake work his magic amongst the spread was such a special treat. Getting to know Jake and his wife Shannon during my time in Raleigh was the cherry on top of a great trip!

Thank you to Mike & Megan for the fabulous photos and for inviting me to North Carolina, and a big stylist hug & thank you to Jonathan who assisted me during the shoot. And if you ever get a chance to visit sweet Raleigh, make sure to stop into Capital Club 16. Those pimento cheese crostini’s with apple jam and figs knocked my socks off! For my first pimento cheese experience this one will be tough to beat – woah!

For additional photos and a sweet little video (you CANNOT miss Jake making his hand cut spaetzle!! I was in complete awe!) head over to The Fresh Exchange.

Happy weekend friends!
